Brad Pitt Ramps Up Security at $5.5 Million Mansion After Bold Break-In

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has taken unprecedented security measures after his Los Angeles mansion was brazenly burglarized while he was out of town. According to The U.S. Sun, unknown intruders climbed over the fence at his Los Feliz property and, in just ten minutes, made off with some of the actor’s personal belongings. The value of the stolen items has not been disclosed.

Police are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made so far. In response, Pitt has hired round-the-clock professional security guards to protect his home. Sources say that neighbors had long noted the lack of proper barriers—no tall fence or dense hedges—making the house easy to access. As soon as the neighborhood patrol finished its shift, the thieves struck.

24/7 private security can cost tens of thousands of dollars, but for Pitt, “money is no object,” insiders joke.

Pitt bought this “Steel House”—a modernist, 2,000-square-foot home—in 2023. The stylish residence, complete with a pool, sauna, and floor-to-ceiling windows, became Pitt’s retreat following his high-profile split from Angelina Jolie. He now shares the house with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.

Pitt isn’t the only celebrity recently targeted by criminals in Los Angeles. This year alone, Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, and Jessie J have all suffered break-ins. Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, also faced a scare when someone tried to crash through the gates of her Bel-Air estate.

At the time of the burglary, Pitt was in London attending the premiere of his new movie, “F1,” where he stars as veteran driver Sonny Hayes. The film, produced by F1 champion Lewis Hamilton and the team behind “Top Gun: Maverick,” tells the story of a washed-up racer making a dramatic return to the sport.
