Blake and Gwen miss CMAs as marriage rumors intensify

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani did not attend the CMA Awards, despite Shelton being among the nominees. A source told E! that the couple “will be watching the CMA on their TV this year,” but did not explain why they chose to skip the ceremony.

Shelton still won the CMA Musical Event of the Year for his collaboration with Post Malone, Pour Me a Drink.

The country singer has received 11 CMA trophies over the years.

Their absence comes amid ongoing speculation about the state of their marriage.

In March, Shelton released a breakup-themed song titled Hangin’ On, which some fans interpreted suspiciously.

He later clarified that the track was “really no reflection of where Gwen and I are in our relationship – I hope.”

The two have also been less publicly affectionate in recent months and have kept their personal lives more private. Even Shelton’s birthday message for Stefani this year was notably reserved.

A source told Star that “they’re both so different and it’s starting to become more apparent now,” adding that there is concern the couple could become “another Hollywood divorce casualty.”

The pair is also expected to spend more time apart professionally: Stefani is preparing for her No Doubt residency in Las Vegas, while Shelton is focusing on new music and the expansion of his Ole Red restaurant chain.
